MICHAEL J. REARDON
Oil Painting Artist
Michael is a self-taught fine arts oil painter currently residing in Maine.
He studied with highly recognized and awarded Master oil painter Robert Farris at the Woodend Studios.
His followers say that the serenity that comes from Nature is in his heart and that it comes out in his art work making them so elegantly. He admits that he gets this Inspiration and his Influences from the natural beauty that is all around us. Beautiful and peaceful scenes like the colorful sky behind a marsh or the morning sunlight glistening softly over a small country stream.
It is these special places in nature that we so often forget to stop and admire from time to time but that reach that special place in our hearts when we see them in a painting.

I find that the Beauty and Serenity of Nature has always inspired me and is at the center of my interest.
There is nothing like experiencing the atmosphere of New England with the peaceful scenic views of the open fields, farm houses, stone walls and the white horse fences that are associated with New England living.
The enjoyment of all these surroundings and influences I believe are in my soul and come out in my oil paintings. Many customers share with me the peace and emotions that they receive from my paintings and I sincerely hope that you will also get the same peace and happiness!
Paintings, Why do we love them so much? Is it the subject matter, the colors, the scene or the location? Well everyone is different and seem to love a painting for their own reason.
For whatever reason it is, we seem to get pleasure from them. A wonderful feeling and emotion come over us from just looking at them.
Whatever your reason is I hope that my paintings will give you that feeling of joy and pleasure for years to come! Michael
